features two satellite speakers and a downward firing subwoofer. Each satellite speaker is built from four 1-inch full range transducers and is housed in a transparent casing with an angle adjustable stand. While a 6-inch low frequency Subwoofer is built into a transparent casing with a flared sound port in a downward firing mode. The Harman Kardon SoundSticks III is an ideal choice for a multimedia desktop speaker system because it is built compatible with most stereo line outputs such as those found on computer sound cards, MP3 Players and DVD/CD players. The connection to these stereo sources is effected through a 3.5mm mini output stereo jack.

• A 6-inch, 20 Watt Active downward firing Subwoofer

SoundSticks III reproduces low bass notes from a 6-inch downward firing low frequency transducer (bass driver) that is powered by a 20W RMS  Amplifier. SoundSticks III subwoofer comes with a volume control knob and a push power ON/OFF button. The subwoofer has been so designed to pump air downwards to make the SoundStick III less susceptible to adverse room variables and produce a consistent performance. Additionally, the flared port reduces port noise during high volume air passages to give you a pleasant listening experience.

• Two 10 Watt Satellite Speakers

The satellite speakers are each made up of four 1-inch full range transducers, which give you a quality sound output for much of the audible spectrum, i.e 20Hz - 20kHz. • Frequency Response

SoundSticks III is designed to reproduce fairly cleanly all audio between 44Hz – 20kHz. The native drivers and Amplifiers are designed to reproduce audio in the stated frequency range.

• Input ports

The Harman Kardon Soundsticks III has a single input connection; a 3.5mm stereo jack that is connected to the subwoofer base. Satellite speakers also get their input from the subwoofer through the dual subwoofer cable. The amplifier built into the subwoofer is a 40 Watt Amp with 20W subwoofer channel and two 10W satellite speaker channels.

• Power Requirement

Soundsticks III requires 110-127V AC, 50/60Hz power input and consumes 65W at maximum volume and 4W when idle.
