• MDR-1A Hi-Res Headphones

Sony's MDR-1A Hi-Res headphones are designed with a 40mm HD speaker units with an incredibly wide frequency response, namely from 20Hz to 100kHz. Aside from being light, the drivers are made from an aluminum coated liquid crystal polymer film diaphragms to provide rigidity and accurate percussion for wide, balanced sound reproduction for every genre. To further refine user experience, the headphones use silver coated Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) wires with separated ground cable structure to limit crosstalk between the left and right channels. Silver coated OFC has lower electrical resistance than standard copper wire. This minimizes transmission loss.
